Richard changed my life when I was 23. A young belgian in London we lived some fabulous time in Walthamstow together. And kept in contact for a vry long time.

I taught you Turkish when you stayed in Istanbul in your 20's. And i was in my late 20's. You were full of fun and humour. You called me Princess as I was too conservative in the slice of life you preferred to choose...I remember how you dressed me up in elegance when i went to meet a date that was making my legs tremble and you made me the hit of the party I joined. You had so much taste in the way you advise to dress a woman. I still keep the handprinted scarf of Adam and Eve with a heart in between that you painted for me. As we in this part of the world believe that soul is eternal, I know you smile feeling my words now and may be you made me write to make somebody you love happy. As it is weird to search for someone that you have not contacted after 30 years...You know the reason and i know why i write. Bless you Richard, sleep in elegance in utmost Peace in the lap of Allah...

Richard, you wanted me to speak English properly. I teach it now and every time I ask my pupils to do so, you are there in my memories. I am sure you would have liked me to be an English teacher.
