Sadly while Philip & Richard were in their early teens, there was a fair bit of domestic stuff going on in the background with parents divorcing and the usual domestic challenges that teenagers have to contend with!

As Philip & Richard grew into their teens so they started to grow apart as each of them found their own friends and started in their paths to young adulthood. Philip went into the RAF while Richard remained in brighton. He was in his early teens when he discovered that he was gay. And thus Richard ended up pursuing his new life, in the 80s in Brighton & London having 'come out'.  His new life had begun.
